Nakuru Mediheal hospital auctioned over Ksh.40 million debt.

Nakuru Mediheal Hospital and other properties under the Mediheal Group are facing auction over debts amounting to more than Ksh 40 million. The hospital, owned by former Kesses MP Dr. Swarup Mishra, has been struggling with financial issues due to unpaid rent and loan arrears. The auction is scheduled to take place on July 2, 2024, and includes various parcels of land owned by the Mediheal Group.

Mediheal Hospital, which started as a state-of-the-art facility in 2010, is known for its comprehensive healthcare services. However, financial difficulties intensified after the loss of key partnerships with medical insurance firms and declining patient numbers.
