Aliko Dangote offers to sell 650,000 bpd oil refinery to NNPC

Aliko Dangote has stated that the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation Limited (NNPCL) no longer owns a 20% stake in the Dangote Refinery. Instead, their stake has been reduced to 7.2% due to NNPCL’s failure to meet its financial obligations. The NNPCL was supposed to pay the balance of their share by June 2024 but could not do so, thus retaining only the portion they had already paid for
