Airport Whistle-blower Says His Life Is In Danger.

Nelson Amenya, the whistleblower who exposed the controversial deal between the Kenyan government and India’s Adani Group to lease Jomo Kenyatta International Airport (JKIA), has expressed deep concerns for his safety.

After sharing sensitive documents in July 2024, revealing the terms of the deal, Amenya has been subject to online harassment, threats, and accusations. The deal, which involves a long-term lease of JKIA, has sparked protests and outrage, particularly among airport workers.

Amenya, currently residing in France, fears for his life after receiving threats from individuals linked to the Adani Group. He has also faced accusations from Kenyan authorities, including allegations that his company is involved in cryptocurrency fraud. Amenya believes these actions are attempts to silence him and discredit his whistleblowing efforts. Despite the threats, he remains resolute in his stance, defending his actions as patriotic.
