President William Ruto recently announced that the NBA (National Basketball Association) will partner with Kenya to build 100 basketball courts across the country. This initiative is aimed at fostering the development of basketball talent and promoting the sport among Kenyan youth. The project is part of a larger effort to improve sports infrastructure and create opportunities for young people to pursue professional careers in basketball, both locally and internationally. This collaboration between Kenya and the NBA is expected to enhance grassroots talent development and contribute to the growth of basketball in the region.
