Haiti continues to experience savere violence a d instability due to gang activities. In a recent attack in port-au-prince, two people were killed and approximately 5000 residents were forced to move from their homes as armed gangs launched an assault. The gangs have increasingly taken over the control of the capital, contributing to widespread insecurity, displacing thousands of people and disrupting daily life.
