Catholic Bishops Returns Donations Made By Ruto And Sakaja.

The Catholic Bishops in Kenya have returned Ksh. 2.8 millions on donations made by the president william ruto and Nairobi governor Johnson Sakaja. They expressed concerns about the politicization of the churches through contributions. The Kenya Conference of Catholic Bishops emphasized that while the church appreciate support, it should not be used as a tool for political influence.

The Bishops urged political leaders to ensure their actions are genuine and not aimed at gaining political mileage. They reiterated their commitment to ensure church remains neutral and focus on spiritual mission rather than political alignment.
