In a fiery statement that has sent shockwaves through Kenya’s political landscape, former minister Justin Muturi has launched a scathing attack on President William Ruto, calling him “a very dangerous character” and “irredeemably corrupt.”
Speaking on an interview in Nairobi on Friday, Muturi did not mince his words, saying that the president’s leadership is steering the country into dangerous territory.
“William Ruto is not just unfit to be president. He is a very dangerous character whose actions and conduct have proven he cannot be trusted with the future of this country,” Muturi said. “He is irredeemably corrupt — the kind of leader who will sacrifice national interest for personal gain without blinking.”
Muturi, once an ally of Ruto, accused the president of surrounding himself with individuals facing serious graft allegations and failing to uphold the integrity expected of the highest office in the land.
“We are watching the systematic erosion of our institutions, the silencing of dissent, and the misuse of public funds under his administration. If we remain silent, we are complicit,” he added.
